IHG have been the official hotel group for the ARU for over 10 years with the InterContinental Sydney playing host to 7s teams from 16 countries.
Eventual winner, New Zealand secured a thrilling victory over Australia in the final in front of a sellout crowd.
It was the first time the 7s was hosted in Sydney to the delight of Destination NSW CEO Sandra Chipchase, having previously been held on the Gold Coast and in Adelaide.
