Hoteliers say distribution and online marketing need urgent attention

1. Managed guest relationships
2. Integrated technology systems
3. Improved data collection and security

As part of their research, hoteliers were asked what their key challenges and concerns were – now and over the next three years. And most admitted they invested too much of their already-limited time and resources into driving one-off transient bookings.

Dr Peter O’Connor noted: “Most people involved in hotel distribution and online marketing would agree that the whole area is in turmoil right now, with both technology and consumer expectations evolving extremely rapidly.”
