Tourism Brokers and MR Sales merge in new deal
Gold Coast-based MR Sales has announced its merger with Sydney firm Tourism Brokers, in a deal they believe will capture 60 percent of Australia’s market share.
Tourism Brokers principal Michael Philpott told accomnews that the agreement was made “to offer vendors and buyers a like a greater specific and enhanced service level that will better meet the respective needs as we work together to get the optimum results”.
“The merger will add value to the rest of the Australian market and create a number of opportunities for brokers, buyers and vendors on a national scale. The geographic spread combined with the local and industry knowledge are second to none.”
“Qld is the home of management rights and the opportunities to add value from the joint experience to development and the accommodation industry on a national scale is phenomenal.”
Last year the firms were able to sell a combined total of more than 100 rights.
Referring to the founders of MR Sales, Mr Philpott added: “Jake and Lyn Clarke are not only Industry leaders, they are true professionals that have created unique team of like-minded QLD professionals. Jake Clarke the number one sales achiever of Management Rights for a number of years and has been instrumental in growing the management rights industry.”
