Metro Hotel Ipswich International hosts Ipswich Festival After Party

Metro Hotel Ipswich International hosted a cocktail after party for 80 people last night to thank Ipswich sponsors for supporting the growth of the highly successful Ipswich Festival.

As an important member of the Ipswich community, Metro Hotel Ipswich International encourages other businesses to play a role in helping to increase the attraction of Queensland’s largest regional city for both locals and tourists alike.

As such, it provided the venue and food and beverages for a thank you cocktail party as its contribution in recognising the role members of the Ipswich businesses played in ensuring the city and its annual festival continue to grow and flourish. The hotel also provided complimentary room nights to the organisers of the festival.

The Ipswich Festival is a unique event organised by the Ipswich Events Corporation and held annually. The festival strives to harness the power of the local community to showcase the many forms of art in the city as well as the cultural heritage of the region.

Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale and Ipswich Councillors were singled out for mention on the night for their continued drive and enthusiasm for the city, creating a collaborative platform ideal for the cultivation of the Ipswich Festival and ensuring the city will enjoy an exciting future.

Ipswich Events Corporation Executive Chairman Paul Casos and his team, including Sylvia Norton and Lowana Moxham, were also noted for their strong contribution to the festival’s success.

Also present at the event were representatives from the festival’s major sponsors Nine News, St Andrew’s Private Hospital, Heritage Building Society, Queensland Rail, Ipswich Civic Centre, QLD Government and Queensland Times.
