Australian Building Management Accreditation goes National

Building on the Queensland edition of the ABMA Building Management Code, the ABMA has announced the release of the New South Wales and Victorian editions of the code.

In a new statement, ABMA said: “By joining forces with our independent review panel members in these states we can assure the industry that the guiding principles will support compliance in each respective state.

“With the ‘maintenance plan’ already required in Victoria and Strata Scheme Management Act in NSW now mandating the ‘building management plan’ coming into effect on December 1, 2016, early indications show that the ABMA Building Management Code will be just as well received as the objective standard for the building management industry in these other states.

For those industry practitioners, whose clients extend to these states, now is the chance to add to your technical library with the game changer for 2017. The ABMA Building Management Code is now the national objective standard.

The ABMA Building Management Code for the remaining states, territories and New Zealand will be available in the coming weeks.
