ARMA RM Summit recap of Melbourne event
The APAC Revenue Management Summit was held in Melbourne on November 9 and 10 with overwhelming success.
The inaugural event was planned and hosted by the Australian Revenue Management Association (ARMA) in support with the Accommodation Association of Australia (AAoA), their other industry partners Star Ratings Australia, Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA) and sponsors.
With the theme of this year’s conference being “optimise – innovate – educate” delegates were treated to a range of revenue management education workshops and breakout sessions led by leading industry experts and finished with a wonderful networking session of post drinks and canapes on the rooftop pool deck soaking up the sights of Melbourne.
ARMA used revenue management practices when pricing the event offering flexible pricing based around customer wants and needs. This allowed them to maximise their demand and revenue for the event which saw over 100 delegates of revenue management focused professionals and a strong mix of local, interstate and international attendees.
The event was successful for both delegates and sponsors with all the delegates being the key target market. The APAC Revenue Management Summit will run again in 2017, please contact Melissa Kalan from ARMA via the contact form on www.apacrmsummit.com if you would like to be involved with the event or to register your interest for early to market updates and promotions.
