What difference can an image make? Star Ratings share online listing presentation tips
Star Ratings Australia has launched a new online listing portal called Manage My Listing, and in doing so, have shared some before and after shots that demonstrate how images and property descriptions can make listings stand out.
Sarah McCully, general manager at Star Ratings Australia revealed her tips for getting the most out of an online listing:
- Update your imagery seasonally and include the type of guests you want. For example, if you want families include images of a family
- Create a well-written and emotive listing with great content and imagery to assist guests in making a decision
- Use keywords to improve SEO
The group’s new portal encourages properties to:
- Add up to 10 images
- Upload ideas for stories so that the SRA media team can know what’s happening and let the media know
- Download the latest Star Rating review report to get information about how their star rating was achieved
- Add their room rates, maps location and social media links
