Broome-time accommodation joins Golden Chain motels
Broome-Time Accommodation and Art Gallery has a goal of becoming the best budget accommodation in Broome and joining Golden Chain Motels is part of its plan.
Broome-Time Accommodation is a 58-room motel with all rooms having kitchenette facilities and room types ranging for the Budget traveler to King Suites for the corporate guest and family rooms for up to 6 persons.
With Australia-wide properties, Golden Chain offers marketing support and the capacity to build loyalty. Golden Chain Motels have been around for 30 years and during this time thousands and thousands of travelers have stayed at a Golden Chain property and experienced the service and amenities available.
Currently Broome-Time Accommodation is undergoing a refreshment program which will give the property a deserved facelift. New general manager, Dean Cooper has many years of experience in hospitality throughout the world and said: “We are excited about the potential here. Our forward occupancy rates are good, which is a great position to be in, but aligning with Golden Chain can only make them better.”
Mr Cooper said: “Joining Australia’s MOST ACCOMMODATING motel chain, is a symbol of consistent quality, standards and provides guests with peace of mind and reassurance. Guests want good clean and affordable accommodation. Any guest will forgive that a room or building is not brand new but will not forgive that a room isn’t clean”.
Broome-Time Accommodation GM Dean said: “We contribute a lot of our current success to the way they work with outlying communities and the zero-tolerance approach to unruly behavior. Guest and staff safety is top of our priority list. Just because we’re a budget property, does not mean guests should have to tolerate bad behavior.”
Broome-Time Accommodation also has a unique feature – the Art Gallery, which procures works from artists throughout WA as well as local Indigenous communities. Broome-Time only supports “dry” communities and funds from the purchase of works go into a community fund for the good of the community.
