AccorHotels has rebranded the Grand Mercure Apartments Docklands in Melbourne to The Sebel Residences, Melbourne Docklands effective 6 February 2017.
Following this announcement, AccorHotels Melbourne network is now comprised of four upscale hotels wearing The Sebel badge – The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane, The Sebel Melbourne Docklands, The Sebel Residences Melbourne Docklands and The Sebel Melbourne Moorabbin (opening early 2017).
Chief operating officer AccorHotels Pacific, Simon McGrath said, “The Sebel brand is a recognised name in the hotel apartment space. We saw an opportunity to further leverage The Sebel brand’s presence in Melbourne, and the rebranding will not only complement but enhance the existing Docklands property offering in the precinct.”
