Mayor & football club captain officially open Quest Fremantle

Mayor of Fremantle, Dr Brad Pettitt, former captain of the Fremantle Football Club, Peter Bell, and Fremantle AFLW star Kirby Bentley joined over 100 local business people to officially open the company’s twelfth property in Western Australia, Quest Fremantle, at 8 Pakenham St.

Quest Director – Group Operations, Cameron Stewart was delighted to formally open Quest Fremantle, adding 122 rooms to the WA market.

“Last night’s opening was a continuation of Quest’s assertive growth strategy within the WA market, helping to meet continually increasing demands for premium accommodation for the business traveller segment.

“The City of Fremantle is currently undergoing its largest development in 28 years, to transform land in front of Fremantle Harbour and the Swan River into one of the biggest waterfront developments Perth has ever seen. 16,000sqm of retail space and 30,000sqm of high quality office space will be added within the city centre, further establishing Fremantle as a hive for both tourism and business in Western Australia,” said Mr Stewart.

Quest Fremantle Franchisees, Bram Newbold and Byron McDonald were thrilled to celebrate the opening of Quest Fremantle.

“The new cultural precinct of Kings Square has created more than 2,100 new local jobs and Quest Fremantle will provide much sought after new apartment hotel accommodation for business travellers. The new property is also well positioned to attract leisure travellers, keen to explore one of Western Australia’s most popular tourist destinations.

“We are excited to be officially opening Quest Fremantle today. It is such an amazing opportunity to be part of the city’s largest major development in 28 years. Thank you so much to Cameron Stewart, Mayor Brad Pettitt, Sirona Capital, Doric, Peter Bell, Kirby Bentley and the Fremantle Foundation’s Dylan Smith for joining us to celebrate this momentous occasion,” Mr Newbold said.

Mayor of Fremantle, Dr Brad Pettitt said Quest Fremantle was a very welcome addition to the city’s accommodation portfolio.

“Fremantle’s reputation as one of the most vibrant destination cities in the world has gained a lot of traction in recent years. Ensuring visitors to Freo have access to high-quality accommodation options, like Quest, is critical in keeping this momentum going,” said Mr Pettitt.

To mark last night’s opening event, Quest Fremantle donated $5,000 to The Fremantle Foundation, an independent, not-for-profit community foundation whose central role is to encourage philanthropic giving.

They provide specialist fund management and grant making expertise to private and corporate donors wanting to contribute to the area’s social and cultural development. This donation highlights Quest’s ongoing commitment to the communities in which they operate.

Developed by Sirona Capital, Quest Fremantle features 122 apartments comprising of studio, one and two bedroom configurations. The property also includes an on-site gymnasium, conference room and rooftop terrace.
