Novotel launches program to bring health to the boardroom

Following the launch of InBalance by Novotel Hotels & Resorts with pro-surfer Sally Fitzgibbons as ambassador, the company is promoting InBalance Meetings as a program to place health and wellbeing front and centre for conference and event guests.

Designed to take care of the body and mind to achieve positive meeting outcomes, the concept consists of five signature elements which bring the program to life.

Creating an arrival and meeting room experience which inspires each participant to personally contribute to the meeting agenda is one of the key elements of the program, as is creating comfortable and flexible work spaces which can easily be adapted.

To help delegates perform at their best, InBalance Meetings includes a signature food menu that has been curated by renowned nutritionist Michele Chevalley-Hedge. The menus have been designed with clean, whole food ingredients with minimal sugar to support concentration and sustain productivity.

As part of the program, virtual 30 minute work-out session led by Novotel WELLNESS AMBASSADOR, Sally Fitzgibbons can also be worked into any conference or event. Fitballs and yoga mats are available for delegates and local area maps are provided for those that want to go for a walk or run during break sessions.

Simon McGrath, chief executive officer of AccorHotels Pacific said: “After recently launching InBalance by Novotel with Sally and seeing the success and resonance it had with our guests, it was a natural fit to work the health and wellness philosophy into meetings and events which is a core component of our business.

“Already we have seen the program successfully implemented in seven of our key Novotel hotels around Australia and in 2017 we will look to continue our phased roll out until all of our Novotel hotels around the county offer the InBalance Meetings program.”

Novotel Brisbane, Novotel Canberra, Novotel Glen Waverley, Novotel St Kilda, Novotel Newcastle, Novotel Olympic Park and Novotel Darling Harbour are all currently offering the new InBalance Meetings program, and the company says more hotels will come on board throughout 2017.
