VIDEO: Pro-surfer Sally Fitzgibbons unveils Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific’s new boardroom

Novotel Hotels & Resorts Australia Wellness Ambassador and pro-surfer Sally Fitzgibbons has put a new spin on ‘member of the board’, unveiling a new-look boardroom concept at Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific.

By bringing the beach into the boardroom, the intimate space, now known as The Pacific Room by Sally Fitzgibbons, has been completely refurbished with Sally’s input to create an inspiring space for productive meetings.

Boasting sweeping views of iconic Manly Beach, the light-filled airy space brings the outside indoors, allowing the fresh sea spray to reinvigorate delegates. Located on level 3, the boardroom incorporates greenery and plant life to improve air quality for concentration during meetings and to foster a relaxed calm working space.

Situated just 18 minutes from downtown Sydney by fast-ferry, Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific’s new boardroom designed by Sally Fitzgibbons is ideal for intimate events or meetings, comfortably seating up to 18 people boardroom-style and can be easily transformed to suit any style of meeting.

In addition, Sally has helped craft a new meetings menu with Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific’s Chef Ryan Dawson, with a focus on health and wellbeing, to help delegates stay fuelled and alert – complementing the vision behind the new boardroom space.

Sally Fitzgibbons, says “I have always found the standard corporate boardroom a bit uninspiring. They all tend to have that formal feel with the big desk, row of chairs, screen and limited colour. Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific boasts such an amazing outlook and I thought why not bring a bit of the beach feel from across the road right into the board room to make it a relaxed, trendy and inspiring space.

“I am so stoked to add my stamp on this room as I really connect with the space! The Hamptons beach décor and new healthy food offering creates such a relaxed yet productive space where delegates can feel their best when making big decisions.”

Also the face of ‘InBalance by Novotel’ Hotels & Resorts’ across Australia, Sally has designed an InBalance menu which features a variety of delicious and healthy items such as seasonal juice shots, fruit smoothies, coconut coriander and quinoa salad, Mexican spiced chicken breast salad and more. The new nutritious meals make it easier for hotel guests to stay on track with their health and fitness goals whilst travelling.

Novotel’s commitment to health and fitness is evident throughout each hotel, with delicious and healthy menu options devised by Sally and the team of chefs at Novotel on the ‘Healthy Choices’ menu.

Available exclusively for guests with no fitness equipment required, Sally’s energising in-room workout is also available, allowing guests to have a workout from the privacy and comfort of their hotel room. Guests also have access to walking and jogging maps at reception and state-of-the art gymnasiums.

Novotel Hotels & Resorts is the midscale brand of AccorHotels and is a network of modern, well designed hotels genuinely committed to every kind of traveller, particularly families with its range of family-friendly benefits.
