Mooloolaba shines First Light on newest apartments

Managing partner of Dreamtime Resorts, Garry McKenzie, said the latest property in their group had already attracted strong interest due to its location.

Mooloolaba’s newest apartment building, First Light, has opened, shining a new light on the region’s holiday offering.

“The location of First Light really offers the best of the green and the gold,” said Mr McKenzie.

“It’s positioned on First Avenue, just steps away from the myriad of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops on the main beachfront stretch, but with the added benefit of being set back just enough to enjoy the best of the hinterland views.

“First Light will attract holiday makers who want to stay in a brand-new apartment 50 metres from the heart of the action, without paying the huge dollars to stay on the beachfront strip.”

The brand new 67 -room apartment complex features stylish 2-bedroom apartments as well as two luxurious 3-bedroom Skyhomes with uninterrupted ocean and mountain views from the Coral Sea out to the Glasshouse Mountains.

The apartment complex will be managed by Brigid Clarke. With six years of industry experience operating management rights for her family business, Ms Clarke is now taking aleap out on her own as a Managing Director of First Light Mooloolaba.

“We are thrilled to have Brigid at the helm of First Light,” said Mr McKenzie. “I couldn’t think of anyone more capable – at just 27 years of age, she is a phenomenal operator.”

First Light opens this week with apartments almost fully sold and high demand for the last remaining residences.
