Bonny Hills Park make finalist list

North Coast Holiday Parks (NCHP) Bonny Hills are on cloud nine following the announcement they are a finalist in the 2017 Port Macquarie Business Awards.

The popular holiday park is part of the NSW Crown Holiday Parks Group (NSWCHPT) and has been recognised in the ‘Accommodation’ category.

Park Managers Greg and Michelle Morrissey called the finalist nod great recognition of their work over their team’s work over the past five years and said the park regularly received positive feedback from guests.

“Our guest satisfaction survey average last year was 84 percent, which is well above the industry average of 60 percent, Michelle said.

“This is a fantastic result as it comes purely from guest feedback.

“Winning this award would be an amazing achievement and recognition for all the hard work and passion that our team shares for the industry and our Bonny area.

“We are humbled to receive this acknowledgement from our peers within the Port Macquarie business community as Bonny Hills is a key holiday destination in the region.

“Our team works tirelessly to provide our guests with holidays to remember when they visit our amazing pocket of NSW. Regardless of the outcome, we are honoured to be recognised as finalists and look forward to celebrating with members of our local community at the upcoming awards gala this week.”

NSWCHPT CEO Steve Edmonds recognised the finalist nomination as proof of the ongoing hard work and first-rate customer service provided by Bonny Hills, calling it a testament to the high standard of excellence across the wider group.

“Our parks are consistently being recognised by local business communities for their dedication to regional tourism,” Mr Edmonds said.

“Our Red Rock and Hawks Nest Beach parks have also been announced as finalists for their prospective regional business awards and it is exciting to see our Seal Rocks park take out the top prize for ‘Excellence in Tourism & Hospitality’ at the recent Mid Coast Business Awards.

“These acknowledgements from our industry peers further incentivise our Mission to be regarded as the leading provider of recreational destinations such as Bonny Hills across wider NSW.”

Mr Edmonds congratulated Greg and Michelle and said he looked forward to hearing the outcome of the night.
