Food and beverage partnership

AccorHotels has announced that it is the official accommodation partner of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival presented by Bank of Melbourne.

Between March 16 and 25 in 2018, AccorHotels will play a key role in the internationally acclaimed festival which promises to deliver a curated celebration of food and wine. The Festival program includes a bumper line-up of events, with a focus around sustainability and community.

At the heart of the festival, Hotel Lindrum MGallery by Sofitel will be transformed into the House of Food and Wine Hotel by the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, in celebration of Victoria’s food community. Over 10 days, the hotel’s kitchen, dining room and bar will be taken over by friends of the festival including chefs, growers, wine makers and producers with a sustainable vision.

“The Festival’s focus on sustainability and community ties in with our commitment to CSR and reducing the impacts associated with our operations, particularly when it comes to minimising food waste. We are delighted to be part of the festival and look forward to a successful 2018 event.”
