Pro-Invest kickstarts 2023 with major corporate appointments
New team leaders to help spur continued growth across company’s expanding portfolio
Signalling what it says is the start of a strong year ahead for the brand, Pro-invest Hotels has announced two major corporate appointments.
Effective immediately, Emily Foster takes on the role of Head of Commercial while Caleb Morris steps up as Director of Hotel Openings and Revenue Strategy.

An experienced executive with proven success leading teams across Australia, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, Ms Foster’s role as Head of Commercial sees her responsible for the key areas of revenue management, reservations, sales, marketing and PR while also managing the commercial direction and revenue delivery for Pro-invest Hotels and Vista Hospitality Group.
Prior to joining Pro-invest in 2020, Mr Morris held several leadership roles across Australia with IHG and prior to his appointment was head of Pro-invest Revenue Centre. His new role sees him hold responsibility for managing the continued success of hotel openings across the company’s portfolio.
The two corporate appointments come after a solid 2022 which saw Pro-invest Hotels double its portfolio with a raft of new hotel openings.
These include the launch of Australia’s first Kimpton hotel, Kimpton Margot Sydney, as well as the first voco branded hotel in New Zealand, voco Auckland City Centre along with voco Brisbane City Centre, Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre, Sebel Canberra Campbell, Holiday Inn Express Melbourne Little Collins and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sunshine Coast, the first Holiday Inn Express & Suites property to open in Australia.
Pro-invest Chief Operating Officer – Hotels, Shantha de Silva said both high-level appointments signal an incredible period of growth for the company as it kick-starts the year with a number of exciting new properties in the pipeline.
