Fireworks! And guests on the edge of their seats at the 2023 Caravan Industry National Conference National Gala Dinner 2023
After three days of networking, sharing and learning, an array of fun events and a trade show, the 2023 Caravan Industry National Conference ended with fireworks at the National Gala Dinner!
Throughout the three-day event held at the RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast over 1000 delegates were treated to world-class entertainment, food and first-class service.
Earlier this week after a barbeque under the stars the crowd rocked out to Aussie icon Shannon Noll and on Friday at the formal Gala Dinner, the audience was surprised with a mega firework display, worthy of New Year’s Eve.
Then, after a delicious dinner the crowd enjoyed a fun show from magician Sam Powers and after the awards ceremony, one lucky person won the four-wheel drive giveaway prize from CIAA in ‘Open the Box’ which left the audience on the edge of their seats, before grooving the night away.

The National Conference Gala Dinner was also a chance for the association to recognise and award those in the caravan and camping industry who have excelled in 2023…
For the second year in a row, PMS provider Newbook won the Gerry Ryan OAM Award for Innovation 2023, the award was accepted by its CEO Shaun Cornelius.

In the Review Pro People’s Choice Caravan Park of the Year Awards, the Bronze Award went to Holiday Haven Currarong, Silver Award went to Suffolk Beachfront Holiday Park, and NRMA Forster Tuncurry Holiday Park took out the Gold Award…

Rob Lucas won the Chairman’s Award 2023.

And finally, much-respected caravanning and camping industry advocate, Alison Huth was presented with the Eric Hayman OAM Award for Excellence 2023. The former Editor of What’s Up Downunder still documents her travels around Australia as Editor at Large for the magazine and writes books about the industry.

Once again the wonderful hosts at the RACV Royal Pines Resort went ‘all out’ presenting and providing an exceptional array of F&B offerings throughout the three-day event.
