New era at Nightcap Ridge as Sydney creatives take the reins
Adam Powell and Nick Bond are very excited to build upon the existing business and to deliver unique experiences.
Popular Byron Hinterland retreat and wedding venue, Nightcap Ridge, changes hands this week. Adam Powell and Nick Bond, two creatives from Sydney, will take over the 70-acre property, which features three cottages and a function space known as The Argory.
Current co-owner, Sara Brennan, has called Nightcap Ridge home for more than a decade and will hand over the keys this week.

“The fact you have to drive through the Nightcap National Park to get to Nightcap Ridge, you feel like you are escaping the modern world. The rainforest instantly relaxes you,” Sara said.
“Since opening in 2015, we’ve had the privilege of hosting so many incredible events. It’s been an honour to witness countless special life moments unfold here.
“I’m thrilled to be handing over the reins to such a successful wedding and accommodation business which has been built with hard work and dedication.
“Adam and Nick are excited to grow the business and are considering new revenue streams such as tea rooms and events. I wish them every success.
“I also thank the local community for their support over the years,” Sara said.
Adam Powel said, “Nick and I can’t wait to get on site and continue the wonderful legacy already created by Sara and the team, with help from our own newly-formed team, The Nightcap Group.”
“We are very excited to build upon the existing business and to deliver unique experiences at this truly special location,” he said.
