Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort unveils a new era on Hastings Street
A multi-stage enhancement program is set to reimagine all 175 guest rooms and suites, along with Noosa Beach House.
Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, the only five-star luxury resort on Noosa’s iconic Hastings Street, has announced a major transformation designed to elevate its position as one of Australia’s premier destinations.
For decades, the resort has been a landmark for travellers seeking the perfect blend of French-inspired elegance and Sunshine Coast charm. Now, a multi-stage enhancement program is set to reimagine all 175 guest rooms and suites, along with Noosa Beach House, the resort’s signature dining and social hub.

The first of the transformed rooms will be unveiled next month, featuring natural textures, custom detailing, and a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. The refreshed design is intended to capture the spirit of Noosa, offering guests an elegant yet relaxed retreat after a day spent enjoying Hastings Street boutiques, the Noosa River, or Main Beach.
General Manager Mark Wilkinson told AccomNews the project would honour the resort’s legacy while raising the bar for luxury in the region.
“This resort has always been the jewel of Hastings Street, and we’re taking it to the next level,” Mr Wilkinson said.
“We’re refining what people love about Sofitel Noosa—thoughtful styling, intuitive service, and a genuine welcome—while elevating comfort in every detail.”
He added that every touchpoint, from rooms to restaurants, would be a modern expression of Noosa: internationally refined, yet unmistakably local.
Owned by Noosa Pacific Hotel Pty Ltd, part of The Pacific Collection led by the Karedis and Laundy families, and managed by Accor, the resort remains fully open during the upgrade. Services are continuing as normal, with measures in place to minimise disruption for guests.
The project will ensure Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort continues to embody a new standard of global luxury, strengthening its reputation as the ultimate place to stay, play, and indulge in Noosa.
