Amora Hotels and Resorts appoints Tamer Habib as Chief Operating Officer
Experienced hospitality leader to drive commercial strategy and regional growth.
Amora Hotels and Resorts has named Tamer Habib as its new Chief Operating Officer, a move that signals a sharpened focus on operational performance and strategic expansion across Australia and Asia.
Habib brings more than three decades of hospitality experience to the role, including senior positions with global brands such as Marriott, Hyatt, InterContinental and Stamford, as well as his immediate past role as Vice President of Operations at Amora.

In his new capacity, Habib will lead the group’s commercial strategy and overall vision, driving alignment across markets and supporting the brand’s continued growth trajectory.
Owner and CEO Earp Siriphatrawan said Habib’s leadership will be pivotal as Amora builds its presence in key urban centres.
“Tamer is a highly respected leader … we are excited for this next phase in his career where he has the important role of expanding our presence in Australia’s gateway cities,” Siriphatrawan commented.
Habib said he was “honoured” to take on the COO role, noting Amora’s values, heritage and growth strategy as strong foundations for future success.
