Working closely with SORA Interior Architecture and Design, the Amora team has delivered a comprehensive reimagining of the hotel’s guest accommodation. The new rooms feature premium fittings, bespoke furnishings and elevated bedding, designed to reflect both modern comfort and the building’s unique history.

The name Herencia, meaning “inheritance, heritage and legacy,” reflects the defining values of the multi-generational Siriphatrawan family, who own and operate all Amora properties in Australia.

Positioned on Melbourne’s iconic Bridge Road – and embracing its past as a former tram depot – the hotel’s new design thoughtfully integrates heritage elements, preserving the authenticity and character of the site while introducing a contemporary aesthetic.

“The launch of Amora Herencia marks an exciting new chapter for our team and for the Melbourne hotel market.”

“The addition of 45 beautifully designed rooms reflects our commitment to delivering a refined 4.5-star contemporary experience, while honouring the heritage character that makes this location so special.

“We’re excited to welcome guests into a space where legacy and modern hospitality come together seamlessly.”
