New Atura hotel to open near Western Sydney International Airport
Conceived as much for the local community as for visitors, Atura Oran Park will be a place to gather, celebrate, work, dine and unwind
Developed in partnership between the Perich family and EVT Hotels & Resorts, which will operate the 184-room hotel under its Atura brand, the hotel marks the latest chapter in the family’s long-term vision for the former Oran Park Raceway.
Conceived as much for the local community as for visitors, Atura Oran Park will be a place to gather, celebrate, work, dine and unwind. Atura Oran Park will offer 184 contemporary guest rooms and suites that combine thoughtful design with the comfort and functionality modern travellers expect. Outside, a resort-style pool and terrace invites guests to slow down and linger, while generous communal spaces and flexible conference and event facilities ensure the hotel seamlessly blends work, rest and play.
Positioned in the centre of Oran Park Town and just 20 minutes from the new Western Sydney International Airport, the opening comes as the region enters a new era of growth. Oran Park is forecast to expand to more than 50,000 residents over the coming decades, while Western Sydney International Airport will welcome millions of passengers annually.
Atura has built a reputation as one of Australia’s leading neighbourhood hotel brands, creating vibrant destinations that bring together accommodation, dining, events and community under one roof. Already established in Blacktown, Albury, Dandenong and Adelaide Airport, Atura Oran Park marks the brand’s fifth Australian location and its continued expansion into high-growth communities.

Shannon Craig, Area General Manager of Atura Oran Park, said the opening represented an exciting new chapter for both the hotel and the wider region.
“We’re opening at a time when South Western Sydney is experiencing extraordinary growth and momentum, and being the closest hotel to the new Western Sydney International Airport puts us in a commanding position to support travellers in and out of Sydney,” she said.
“Together with the Perich family, we’ve designed a hotel that feels open, vibrant and full of energy, with beautiful communal spaces, generous outdoor areas and places where people naturally want to spend time. The accommodation has been equally considered, with a mix of room categories catering to everything including both overnight visits and extended stays. It’s contemporary and welcoming, with a design language that draws on the region’s motorsport ties and the Perich family’s heritage, creating a strong sense of place and connection to the neighbourhood that sits at the very heart of Atura.”

Mark Perich said Atura’s philosophy closely aligned with the vision for Oran Park.
“Every element of Oran Park has been thoughtfully considered to create a connected and thriving community, and we wanted our first hotel to reflect that same approach, embedded in the heart of the town centre.
“Atura stood out because of its focus on people, neighbourhood connection and creating places where locals and visitors naturally come together. It wasn’t simply about finding a hotel operator. It was about finding a brand that would become part of the fabric of the community and contribute to the long-term vision for Oran Park.”
For EVT Hotels & Resorts, the hotel represents the next chapter in the continued expansion of the Atura brand, bringing its signature people-first approach to a community built around connection, growth and opportunity.
Callum Kennedy, EVT Hotels Group GM, said Oran Park was a natural fit for the Atura brand.
“Oran Park is exactly the kind of market where Atura thrives. It’s a fast-growing destination with a strong sense of identity, increasing demand from business and leisure travellers, and significant momentum as Western Sydney continues to evolve.
“We’re proud to partner with the Perich family to bring the Atura brand to one of Australia’s most exciting growth corridors and expand our footprint in a region that’s helping shape the future of Sydney.”
