Quest checks into Dickson, more than doubling its Canberra footprint
The 126-key property opens today in Canberra’s inner north, marking a major expansion for Quest in the nation’s capital
Quest Apartment Hotels has today opened Quest Canberra Dickson, more than doubling the brand’s accommodation footprint in the nation’s capital.
Formerly Adina Serviced Apartments Canberra Dickson, the 126-key property at 45 Dooring Street becomes Quest’s third Canberra location, joining Quest Canberra and Quest Canberra City Walk.
Together, the three properties now offer 247 rooms and apartments across the city, up from 121, providing greater choice for government and corporate travellers, project teams, relocating employees, families and leisure visitors.

The opening marks the first stage in the property’s transition to the Quest brand.
Initial works completed ahead of today’s changeover include painting, carpet improvements, minor repairs, new Quest signage and the introduction of The Pantry, Quest’s grab-and-go offering. A broader refurbishment will follow, progressively bringing the apartments and public areas to full Quest brand standards.
David Mansfield, Managing Director of The Ascott Limited Australasia, which owns Quest Apartment Hotels, said the opening represented a significant vote of confidence in Canberra’s continued growth.

Quest Canberra Dickson offers a mix of guest rooms, studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments, with accommodation featuring kitchens, laundries, living and working areas and private balconies. Guests also have access to on-site parking, complimentary Wi-Fi and convenient public transport connections.

Eight existing hotel team members have transitioned to Quest Canberra Dickson, providing continuity for guests and bringing valuable knowledge of the property and local area to its next chapter.
Located around two kilometres from the CBD and 500 metres from the Dickson dining precinct, the property offers easy access to Braddon, the Australian War Memorial, Mount Ainslie, Parliament House, the National Gallery of Australia and Canberra Airport. Light rail and bus services provide convenient connections across the city.
Quest Canberra Dickson joins the 37-key Quest Canberra in the historic Melbourne Building and the 84-apartment Quest Canberra City Walk in the CBD.
The opening forms part of a broader period of expansion for Quest, following the opening of Quest Southport on the Gold Coast and alongside upcoming new properties in Goulburn North and Brisbane’s Wickham Terrace. Quest currently operates more than 160 properties across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji and is targeting a network of 200 properties by 2030.
