Elysium Noosa Resort unveils a new era of coastal luxury on Hastings Street

A full redesign, new restaurants and an aesthetic that captures the spirit of one of Australia’s favourite beach destinations.

Elysium Noosa Resort has welcomed its first guests following a major transformation that brings new dining concepts, elevated design and a renewed standard of relaxed luxury to one of Australia’s most sought-after beachfront destinations.

Located in the heart of Hastings Street, the resort now features 175 reimagined rooms and suites and a signature dining collection from acclaimed Sydney restaurateurs Anna and Alessandro Pavoni. Their Italian trattoria, Cibaria Noosa, and Mediterranean all-day venue, Bar Capri, anchor the resort’s refreshed hospitality offering.

Every room has been redesigned with a private balcony and calming views, with accommodation categories tailored for every style of escape including Ocean View Suites overlooking the Pacific, River View retreats, poolside cabanas and village-facing rooms that reflect Noosa’s charm.

The rejuvenated pool precinct has emerged as a new focal point of the resort. The pool has been fully re-pebblecreted and surrounded by restored sandstone, while 120 new sun lounges sit among vibrant, refreshed landscaping. A swim-up bar and poolside dining curated by the Pavonis’ restaurants add a lively yet refined atmosphere throughout the day.

At the peak of the accommodation offering is the new Elysium Suite. Positioned above Hastings Street, the two-bedroom suite features sweeping views, a private plunge pool, expansive living spaces and floor-to-ceiling glass designed to frame Noosa’s natural beauty.

The interiors, draw inspiration from the surrounding landscape. Sun-bleached timbers, tactile linens, rattan, gold accents and a palette shaped by sand, sea and sky create a refined yet deeply grounded retreat. Many pieces including headboards and minibars have been custom designed, with colours and textures that nod to Noosa’s beaches, native flora and local heritage.

General Manager Mark Wilkinson said the resort’s transformation reflects both its iconic position and its enduring appeal.

“This property holds a special place in the heart of Australian tourism and its visitors,” he said. “Primely positioned on Hastings Street, steps from the beach, hospitality and retail, with the river at its opposite edge, the hotel sits at the nexus of Noosa’s most coveted natural and coastal experiences.”

With renewed guest spaces, elevated dining and a design philosophy centred on simplicity and care, Elysium Noosa begins a new chapter as a coastal haven shaped by effortless hospitality, deep connection to place and the luxury of slowing down by the sea.

Elysium Noosa is the sister property to Manly Pacific, which was awarded UNESCO’s acclaimed Prix Versailles in 2024. It will be managed by Accor, as part of the MGallery Collection of luxury hotels.
