Terrigal’s new Florida Beach Bar Revealed with VIP Party
Crowne Plaza Terrigal’s Florida Beach Bar was unveiled to a crowd of more than 400 VIP guests and celebrities at a red carpet event.
For the first time since its $2.9 million renovation, the hotel’s new bar opened its doors to party goers including famous faces such as singers Ricki-Lee Coulter and Sarah McLeod, James Mathison, country music star Gina Jeffreys and Sydney Weekender’s Erica Davis.
As the event spilled onto the bar’s new al fresco garden terrace, guests enjoyed entertainment featuring fire jugglers and performances by local acts, delicious cuisine from Florida Beach Bar’s new menu including gourmet pizzas and cocktails whipped up at the new 30m-long bar.
The Central Coast’s newest entertainment and dining venue, Florida Beach Bar has been completely transformed from its previous offering, save for its name, which remains as a tribute to the site’s original venue, the Florida Hotel, established in 1954.
Located at the ground level of Crowne Plaza Terrigal and catering for up to 700 patrons, the new all weather venue has been transformed into a spectacular indoor-outdoor dining and entertainment lounge, featuring large windows and bi-folding doors with 180 degree views over the Terrigal Beach.
Florida Beach Bar’s new design emulates its oceanic surrounds, with a decor of natural textures and materials, including, stone, sand and wood. Key features of the new bar include its oversized signature bar, that is 30m in length and features 40 beer taps.
