Oaks gets brand new Melbourne property
Oaks Hotels & Resorts has announced its brand new Melbourne property, Oaks on William, is on track to be completed by August 2013, taking the company’s Victorian property portfolio to a total of four.
General manager of sales for Oaks Hotels & Resorts Daniel Csortan said the opening of a fourth Melbourne property is a monumental development in the company’s planned local and international expansion, under the direction of Bangkok-based owner Minor Hotel Group.
“Melbourne is a niche market for Oaks Hotels & Resorts, capitalising on the steady number of corporate and leisure travellers it attracts. Oaks on William is complementary to our three other CBD properties and we look forward to welcoming our loyal following of travellers as well as a new wave of visitors to this 4½ star property.
“Oaks on William not only signifies a growing Australian presence for Oaks Hotels & Resorts but also the continuation of a successful year of business, with further plans for significant property upgrades and openings in key markets on the agenda,” he said.
Located on one of the city’s most vibrant streets, plans for the property includes 220 stylishly-appointed studio apartments, all self-contained with modern kitchenettes and boasting private balconies with scenic city views, air conditioning, technological appliances and wi-fi access.
