Spicers Vineyards Estate adds Spa Anise and new suites

Boutique Hunter Valley retreat Spicers Vineyards Estate has undergone an exciting makeover with a purpose-built day spa and new luxury accommodation now open to guests.

The award-winning property recently opened Spa Anise, a specially-built day spa which offers a range of blissful massage, beauty and therapeutic treatments performed by qualified spa therapists.
The spa offers two treatment rooms, one being a twin room perfect for couples wanting to indulge in luxury together, and both feature natural timber flooring and private courtyards.

Treatments range from an indulgent aromatherapy relaxation massage to full body treatments using Australian-made Waterlily products.

an-spicers-4Four new luxurious 50sqm Spa Suites have also been introduced which offer separate living and bedroom areas, each area with their own individually controlled TV and reverse cycle air-conditioning.
The lounge areas feature large bluestone fireplaces and either a private courtyard or balcony. Luxurious bathrooms offer underfloor heating and heated towel rails, twin basins, a spa bath and both an overhead rain shower and directional shower.

The suites also include complimentary arrival mini bar, their own Nespresso coffee machines and mod cons such as a DVD player, iPod Dock and CD player.

The new accommodation takes the total number of rooms at Spicers Vineyards Estate to 12, adding to eight King Spa guest suites.

“With more luxurious accommodation and a truly indulgent day spa now on offer, Spicers Vineyards Estate has never been more tempting,” owner/managing director Belinda Stapleton said.

“Our new accommodation will help meet growing demand from our guests while the new day spa will give them even more ways to relax during their stay at this special retreat.

“Spa Anise is close to the estate’s outdoor pool and spa – the perfect location to extend the relaxation process by taking a dip or just sitting back in the spa and taking in the serenity.”

Located on its own private vineyard in Pokolbin with rolling views out to the stunning Brokenback Mountain Range, Spicers Vineyards Estate is the ideal base to explore everything the Hunter Valley has to offer, making it perfect for wine country experiences, city breaks or romantic indulgences.

Set back from the buzz of boutique Hermitage Road, the guesthouse building is nestled between the property’s private eight acre vineyards, natural bush land and rolling green hills.

The estate also features an award-winning onsite restaurant, Restaurant Botanica, which specialises in modern Australian cuisine produced by renowned chef/owner Mark Stapleton.

Spicers Vineyards Estate has won a host of awards including being ranked among the Top 25 Hotels for Service in Australia; Top 25 Small Hotels in Australia and Top 25 Hotels for Service in the South Pacific in the 2013 TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards.

Restaurant Botanica has long been recognised as a gourmet icon boasting a long list of accolades including Best Restaurant in a Guesthouse in the Hunter Valley region at 2012 HOSTPLUS Restaurant & Catering Awards.
