Quest focus on Adelaide openings
Quest has announced its accelerated growth plans in South Australia with the tourism minister, Leon Bignell at an event in Adelaide.
In the past 15 months Quest has opened three properties in South Australia and has announced its King William South property was on track to open in April 2014; as well as its latest plans to build two new properties, one in Port Adelaide and another in the CBD, growing its network to 10 properties.
When doors open on these new buildings Quest will offer over 670 rooms to business travellers across South Australia; which represents almost 300% growth for the business in the state since May 2012.
Quest chairman Paul Constantinou made the announcement at the opening of the group’s newest property, Quest on Franklin. “Adelaide’s reputation as a commercial and business tourism hub is flourishing, driven by growth in mining, manufacturing and aviation. Naturally this activity has stimulated demand for quality business traveller accommodation and why Quest has seen potential for business growth in this thriving state.
“I am delighted to announce that Quest will start construction soon on two new properties in Port Adelaide and the CBD as well as opening Quest King William South in April 2014,” Mr Constantinou said.
