New coffee range hits market

Nespresso has added to its range of hospitality coffees.

Hotels now have the option of serving the full-bodied Ristretto Intenso Grand Cru with an intensity of 12. It offers a creamy texture, with a pleasurable aftertaste. It has distinctive aromas, which come from its spicy and woody notes. Its intensity comes from a blend of two Robustas from Guatemala and Brazil and an Arabica from South America. The unique origins and split roasting technique bring out the best characteristics of each coffee variety. The intense roast of the Robustas highlights the strong bitterness and body. In contrast, the long roast of the Arabica brings out finer notes and natural sweetness.

“Australians are sophisticated coffee drinkers and increasingly demand high quality coffee blends in high-end hospitality and professional establishments. The gradual and measured expansion of our permanent range of Grands Crus is a reflection of the growing sophistication of coffee drinkers in leading hotels, restaurants and businesses. We will always strive to bring the most exquisite, premium coffees to meet the standards of our Horeca and professional partners,” said Karsten Ranitzsch, head of coffee, Nespresso.

The Nespresso Professional coffee range now comprises of nine different grands crus across four families of Ristretto, Lungo, Espresso and Decaffinated coffees. Nespresso Ristretto Intenso is available to hotels, restaurants and business customers of Nespresso Professional from this month.
