Massive redevelopment at Runaway Bay
The Marina at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast will soon have six high rise towers as part of a multimillion-dollar redevelopment approved last week by the Gold Coast City Council’s planning committee.
The complex, including a 16-storey tower, will feature a mix of apartments, retail and restaurants. The project will have more than 757 units and 1650 bedrooms. The development has been proposed by Caspex Properties Australia that has owned the site since 1995.
The existing building was built in 1978 and features a marina, dock storage and a mixed-used building.
