Furn-niche supplies the Quest Townsville furniture package
Quest preferred supplier Furn-niche was tasked with supplying the furniture package for the recent Quest Townsville Apartment refurbishment.
Furn-niche, established in 1996, has been a preferred supplier to Quest Apartment Hotels since 2008, completing over 30 new build and refurbishment projects for the group. Furn-niche services include design, manufacturing, procurement and installation of furnishings, fittings and equipment.
They also provide interior design services and manufac-turing for public areas and central facilities, restaurants and bars. The company’s de-sign team has extensive experience and a complete understanding of the requirements of a commercial project. Simone Smits, the assistant manager at Furn-niche Australia, said: “Innovation combined with practicality is a trademark of our works”.
According to Ms Smits, the furnishings scheme developed for Quest Townsville Apart-ments “features a combination of fresh oak veneer and neutral two-pac colour detail. This creates an elegant and timeless casegoods package; while remaining durable and commer-cially viable”.
She also stated: “The soft faux leather on both dining and desk chairs and vibrant colours and textures to the soft furnishings enhance the scheme. The artwork features North Queensland local photography to compliment the contemporary designer scheme. And, most importantly all product was designed to withstand the tropi-cal climate.”
In 2015, Furn-niche is completing works for the Quest Toowoomba, Kelvin Grove, St Leonards, Chatswood, Newcas-tle, Nowra and Wollongong properties in Queensland and NSW, a combination of new and refurbishment projects.
