Accor broadens horizons for members

Holiday programmer Accor Vacation Club has launched a new one-stop travel service and website for its members across Australia and New Zealand.

The service is designed to give easy access to a broader range of travel options, including package holidays, 140,000 hotels and resorts, specialised cruises, golfing and wine promotions, international and domestic flight deals, car hire and travel insurance options

Club CEO Craig Wood said the program complements the club’s portfolio of 24 hotels and resorts across Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia and broadens the travel options available to members.

The Accor Vacation Travel Club website is a joint venture between Accor Vacation Club and its new travel provider, Our Vacation Centre in conjunction with cruise specialists I.C.E Vacations Asia Pacific.

“Accor Vacation Club Members can transfer their Première Points to Discovery Points in order to redeem and book selected travel product available on the site,” he said.

“Best of all, the partnership means that each consultant our members speak with has a true understanding of the how Accor Vacation Club and our points system works.

“This is definitely an advantage in ensuring maximum flexibility and value for those who want to leverage their membership to explore destinations beyond our hotel network.”

Mr Wood said he was “very excited” about the extended partnership.

“We’ve enjoyed great feedback for the cruise product I.C.E introduced for our Members, including exhilarating new destinations like Antarctica,” he said.

“We expect a similarly positive response to the many other added benefits, discounts and innovative travel options this new arrangement represents for our members.”

The new website is www.avctravel.com.au .
