STAAH appoints new CEO
Industry veteran to play pivotal role in changing hospitality landscape
After three years managing the Chief Operating Officer role for Auckland-based STAAH, Tony Howlett has been promoted to CEO.
In his new role as the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Howlett will be responsible for overall leadership, strategy and business management, driving STAAH’s vision of continued rapid growth of its business and 13,000+ customer base.

Announcing the news, STAAH founder, Gavin Jeddo said the move was part of the company’s commitment to building a leadership team that reflects its ambition.
“Tony’s passion for STAAH, industry experience and skillset make him ideal to lead the company into the future.”
Mr Howlett’s industry experience spans more than 20 years and includes stints with Auckland Conventions Venues & Events (Auckland Unlimited) and the Heritage Hotel Group before joining STAAH.
Mr Howlett said the hospitality landscape has changed over the last two years.
“From its current juncture, technology will continue to play a pivotal role in shaping the recovery and next phase of the hospitality industry.
“I am delighted to step into this role, at this crucial time for the industry and looking forward to taking STAAH’s proposition to more partners across the world.”
In other company moves, Girish Godage will now lead STAAH’s technology team while STAAH Director, Tarun Joukani, will continue to lead the STAAH globally sales portfolio in addition to his supporting role with STAAH India Ltd.
