Amora has engaged Cottee Parker Architects for a comprehensive $60 million-dollar refurbishment
Amora Hotels and Resorts is thrilled to announce the acquisition of the iconic Hilton Adelaide, marking a significant step in the group’s ongoing expansion across Australia.
The transition to Amora Group ownership was officially recognised at a signing ceremony on 16 June 2025, attended by key stakeholders including Chairwoman Amornrat Siriphatrawan and directors Mr. Earp Siriphatrawan, Miss Chatkaew Siriphatrawan, and Miss Eye Siriphatrawan.
“This acquisition is a major milestone in our strategy to expand Amora’s presence in Australia’s key gateway cities,” said Earp Siriphatrawan.
“Adelaide’s dynamic events calendar, thriving business environment, and vibrant cultural scene make it an ideal location for Amora to grow and invest in.
Also present at the ceremony were Vice President of Operations Mr. Tamar Habib, who leads the corporate head office, and Group Director of Business Development and Asset Management Narej Farik, alongside other members of the leadership team.
“Expanding into Adelaide gives us the opportunity to elevate the guest experience with top-tier service and upgraded facilities, in a new location. With these renovations, we aim to create a destination that blends exceptional comfort, dining, and event spaces, making it the perfect choice for both business and leisure travellers,” says Mr. Habib.
With existing properties in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Bangkok, this acquisition further solidifies Amora’s position as one of the leading independent hotel brands in the region.
As part of its vision for the new property, Amora has engaged Cottee Parker Architects for a comprehensive $60 million-dollar refurbishment. The renovation will enhance every aspect of the hotel, including guest rooms, dining venues, wellness areas, and event spaces, aligning the hotel with Amora’s luxury offerings across Australia and Thailand. Design plans and renders for the upgraded property were revealed at the event.
The 377-room hotel, located in the heart of Adelaide’s city centre, features 20 conference and meeting rooms, two restaurants and bars, a business lounge, a tennis court, a state-of-the-art gym, and an outdoor swimming pool. These world-class amenities will be elevated as part of the extensive upgrade.
The signing ceremony officially marked the ownership transfer, though the hotel will continue to operate under Hilton management until June 2026.
The revitalised property is set to usher in a new era of elevated hospitality in Adelaide, reinforcing Amora’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the region.
