Executive additions poised to propel Hotel X Brisbane into 2024

The two recruits join Hotel X General Manager, Jeremy Colahan, and Marketing Manager, Alannah Kanowski

Hotel X has unveiled two significant additions to its executive team, welcoming Sian Curtis as Director of Sales and Tejal Narotam as Business Development Manager. These appointments signal a bold new phase for the boutique hotel as it continues its growth in Brisbane’s thriving hospitality sector.

Sian Curtis brings over a decade of experience in sales and events, having worked with top-tier hospitality groups such as the Darling Group and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).

Notably, she was part of the opening team for CENTREPIECE at Melbourne & Olympic Parks and led the project for THE LUME, the world’s largest digital immersive gallery.

Curtis expressed her enthusiasm for joining Hotel X, highlighting her passion for Brisbane’s unique blend of creativity, design, and warmth.

“Hotel X perfectly embodies all of these elements: authentic and sophisticated, wildly creative and luxuriously refined,” Curtis said.

Tejal Narotam, Hotel X

Tejal Narotam, who joins from DOMA Hotels in Canberra, brings seven years of corporate hospitality experience to Hotel X.

As Business Development Manager, she is eager to drive new business opportunities and foster strong community engagement.

“This is an exciting next chapter of growth for Hotel X, and I am thrilled to contribute to its success,” Narotam stated.

The two recruits join Hotel X General Manager, Jeremy Colahan, and Marketing Manager, Alannah Kanowski, who now permanently oversees this role following a short-term appointment. The four managers bring decades of hospitality experience and together are fiercely passionate about shaping this innovative hotel for further growth in 2024 and beyond.
