AHA Welcomes Le Cordon Bleu to WA

The Australian Hotels Association (WA) has welcomed a new initiative from the WA government bringing together the Central Institute of Technology in Perth and Le Cordon Bleu, the world’s premier hospitality training institution.

AHA (WA) CEO Bradley Woods said, “This partnership between the Central Institute of Technology and Le Cordon Bleu is an important step in developing hospitality as a career of choice in Western Australia. Bringing Le Cordon Bleu’s 110 years of experience in culinary arts training to Perth is a new opportunity for anyone seeking a career in hospitality industry.

“For individuals planning a move into the hospitality and tourism industries this partnership between Central Institute of Technology and Le Cordon Bleu will encourage individuals to strive for their best in order to achieve world class skills and experience,” said Mr. Woods.

Le Cordon Bleu has an exceptional history of retaining highly-qualified academic staff who have had many years of leadership in hotel and hospitality management – students will learn from those who have a deep understanding of the challenges faced with a career in this exciting industry.

Commencing in 2014, the Central Institute of Technology and Le Cordon Bleu will offer two degrees: Bachelor of Business majoring in Events Management and Bachelor of Business majoring in Tourism Management.
