Victorian hospitality award winners announced

Victoria’s top accommodation hotels have been recognised at the 2014 Tourism Accommodation Australia (Victoria) Awards for Excellence at a gala dinner at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne last week.

The dinner was attended by minister for tourism and major events Louise Asher along with 500 hoteliers and hospitality industry leaders.

The TAA (Vic) award for “Outstanding Contribution to the Industry” was presented to Peter Crinis, chief operating officer, hotels and food and beverage for Crown Resorts. Sofitel Melbourne on Collins reservation sales manager Michael Brennan was named the Hotel Industry Rising Star.
