Hahndorf holiday park joins Big4

Big4 Holiday Parks, has welcomed a new addition to its 180-strong network of parks. Big4 Hahndorf Resort Tourist Park in South Australia has joined the Big4 family.

Hahndorf is situated in the stunning Adelaide Hills region best known for its beautiful scenery, culture and award winning wineries, and is also Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement.

New owners Lynn and Brian Schirripa took over running the park 14 months ago after selling their farming business and this is their first venture into the tourism industry. The couple bought the park with a vision in mind and have set about giving the region a one of a kind holiday park with modern features.

Lynn and Brian have already added some fantastic additions to the park, including a state-of-the-art conference and events centre, a restaurant, a jumping pillow, new caravan sites and a new camp kitchen which will be finished in April.

The park offers a range of newly renovated accommodation options including cottages that feature en suites and kitchenette facilities, as well as motel style accommodation.

Welcoming Big4 Hahndorf Tourist Park to the group, Big4 Holiday Parks general manager – business development & value creation, Sarah McCully, says the park is a great addition to the network, providing holidaymakers in South Australia with another exceptional accommodation option.
