Holiday parks banding together to provide free accom for frontline workers
Reflections Holiday Parks is calling on Aussies to share their feel-good moments as part of a drive to give a holiday to frontline healthcare workers in Victoria, a campaign to also warm our hearts and lift our spirits.
Steve Edmonds, CEO of Reflections Holiday Parks said: “We know it’s been a long winter for many. That’s why, today we’re launching #findthefeels – an online movement where we share our feel good moments – however large or small – to help raise each other up.”
The initiative, #findthefeels, is aimed at encouraging Aussies to find the good feelings amongst a tumultuous year. For every 100 photos shared, Reflections will give away an escape to a frontline health worker in Victoria at one of their 37 NSW parks. Staying in the park’s deluxe cabins, tiny houses or glamping tents, each giveaway is worth $750 and can be redeemed when the time’s right for recipients to travel again.
To help chalk up some free holidays to give back to our healthcare heroes, Aussies are being asked to share photos when they #findthefeels on Facebook and/or Instagram using the hashtags #findthefeels and #reflectionsholidayparks.
“You might simply find the feels when walking your dog at a nearby park, relaxing under a tree, having dinner with a mate, surfing, fishing or just catching some rays in the backyard,” explains Edmonds.
“#findthefeels is a way in which we can all share our small everyday moments that make us feel connected, feel loved and feel welcomed. It’s particularly important to help raise the spirits of those working on the frontline in Victoria,” he added.
To share the trips with deserving recipients, Reflections will give away the trips to St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne where healthcare workers have been working tirelessly to treat some of the state’s COVID-19 patients.
Mr Edmonds went on to say the giveaway to healthcare heroes is a small way in which Reflections can share its gratitude.
The campaign will run for three months and will include additional initiatives to help encourage Aussies to #findthefeels in nature. For now, Reflections have committed to at least 10 holiday vouchers valued at $7,500 but are open to giving away more should Australians respond strongly.
