Marking its sixth acquisition in 2021, Quest Apartment Hotels has announced its tenancy of a new hotel currently under construction at 375 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill in Brisbane’s inner-north.
When complete in 2023, the new Quest on Wickham Terrace will offer a mix of 81 one, two and three-bedroom apartment style rooms-rooms across five levels of the 15-storey mixed-use development which will be shared with a premium medical facility, Wickham Private, .
Features upon completion include a ground level reception, business lounge, conferencing facility and rooftop pool with retail, food, and beverage offerings to be made available.
Quest’s Head of Growth & Capital Strategy, James Shields, said Quest on Wickham Terrace will service a broad range of traveller segments including a large medical community, with numerous health providers already in the area and Wickham Private coming online.
“Spring Hill has a significant medical fraternity with Brisbane Private Hospital, St Andrews War Memorial Hospital and numerous medical specialists in the area, and Quest on Wickham Terrace will be well placed to service this market.”
“We also envisage that there will be some pre and post-operative guests who choose to stay at the new hotel, in particular those travelling to the area for surgery and wanting a little extra time to recuperate.”
“In addition to these ongoing and immediate opportunities, with the 2032 Olympics secured, Brisbane is set to experience an infrastructure and investment boom, so we’re also predicting a consistent increase in demand at Quest on Wickham Terrance over the coming years, providing long term stability to the prospective franchisee operator and our development partner alike,” he said.
Quest on Wickham Terrace is the sixth property Quest Apartment Hotels has announced in 2021 and follows the announcement of Quest Blacktown and Quest Truganina last month.
But Shields says there is more to come in the new year.
“We’ve never been busier and have a record number of projects set to announce in 2022 in Australia,” he said.
