Nesuto announces trio of executive appointments

New roles seen as crucial to company’s Australia/NZ growth

Nesuto Apartment-Hotels  has announced three key senior appointments as the Japanese-owned hotel and apartment brand looks to focus its growth strategy across its Australia and New Zealand operations.  

John Bristowe has been promoted to Director of Operations Australia and New Zealand.  

Joining Nesuto in 2018, Mr Bristowe’s new role will see him overseeing the operations of all Nesuto’s Australia and New Zealand properties, including the opening of Nesuto Docklands in early 2023, and also supporting property managers with day-to-day operations and implementing guest service and operating standards across the group.  

Mr Bristowe’s previous activity with the company saw him as instrumental in restructuring the group’s New Zealand business and developing strategic relationships.

Commercial Director Australia/NZ, Nikita Beresnev

A key player in the company’s rebranding including distribution and digital marketing strategies and responsible for forging strong relationships across sales, marketing, operations, and distribution partnerships, Nikita Beresnev  has been appointed Commercial Director Australia and New Zealand.. 

Joining Nesuto in September 2018 as Director of Revenue Australia and New Zealand, Mr Beresnev will be the main point of contact for Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, including social, and distribution for Nesuto.   

HR & Training Manager Australia/NZ, Lee Johnson

Lee Johnson has been promoted to Human Resources and Training Manager Australia and New Zealand.  

Lee joined Nesuto in early 2019 as Learning and Development Manager and Relief Hotel Manager.

[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”73487″ align=”left” padding=”10″]Lee spent his first year with the group working across Australia and New Zealand in leadership positions.

He created the group’s brand signature service ethos and in-house training program, Make the Call, which has been rolled out to empower teams to deliver great guest experiences.   

In his new role, Lee will be responsible for all Human Resource-related matters across Australia and New Zealand, training, and development opportunities, assisting with mentoring team members and ensuring Nesuto ‘stays real’. 

Daiwa Living Nesuto CEO,  Mark Ronfeldt said he could not be prouder of the  Nesuto team over the past two years.
