Tasman Holiday Parks has announced the acquisition of North Star Holiday Resort in Hastings Point, NSW.

This significant addition to its portfolio underscores the company’s commitment to continuing the legacy of the resort’s founders, Ian and Diana Beadel.

North Star Holiday Resort, which will be rebranded Tasman Holiday Parks – North Star, offers an array of accommodation options as well as on-site visitor amenities and attractions.

The resort, located on a 10ha waterfront site adjacent to the Cudgen Nature Reserve and a short walk to Hastings Point Lookout, boasts 25 luxury villas, 27 cabins and 19 ensuite powered sites and 56 powered sites.

The vacation hub comprises a suite of onsite facilities for visitors and their guests including the renowned Sammy’s Adventure Lagoon waterpark, as well as a tennis court, a games room, pool table, outdoor playground and a large barbecue area with kitchenette.

North Star Holiday Resort provides a full resort experience with the Seascape Leisure Centre hosting an adults-only day spa and retreat.

Onsite amenities include Ripples licensed café, which doubles as a popular local venue for functions and events, as well as a Marine Discovery Centre.

The acquisition signifies a key strategic move for Tasman Holiday Parks, aligning with its vision for growth and innovation in the region. The company is planning investments to augment the resort’s features while maintaining the high standards guests expect.

Tasman Holiday Parks is the fastest-growing owner, developer, and operator of holiday parks in Australia and New Zealand, which now oversees more than 4700 cabins and sites across 44 properties, welcoming over one million guests annually.
