The highly anticipated new series of Great Australian Walks will premiere on Thursday 22 August at 7.30 pm on SBS and SBS on Demand, offering viewers an extraordinary journey through some of Australia’s most picturesque and culturally significant landscapes.
This series, produced by Mint Pictures, is not just a visual treat but also a celebration of Australia’s diverse tourism offerings, showcasing ten iconic walking destinations across the country.

Hosted by comedy legend Julia Zemiro (Fisk, RocKwiz), comedian Susie Youssef (Deadloch, The Project) and inaugural Alone Australia winner Gina Chick, the series explores a variety of stunning locations, each with its own unique story and natural beauty. From the pristine shores of Margaret River and the spiritual tranquility of Uluru to the rugged ridges of Wilpena Pound and the historic charm of Beechworth, the show offers a comprehensive tour of Australia’s breathtaking landscapes.
