Mantra announces five new hotel signings
Australian-based hotel and resort operator, Mantra Group, has secured five new hotel signings with a combined total of more than 900 additional rooms across Australia and New Zealand.
Today, the following properties were announced as joining Mantra Group’s portfolio of 126 properties globally:
- Peppers Southbank, Melbourne VIC
- Mantra 900 Hay Street, Perth WA
- Peppers Queenstown Resort, Queenstown NZ
- Mantra Club Crocodile, Airlie Beach QLD
- Mantra Observatory, Port Macquarie NSW
Mantra Group chief executive officer Bob East said: “This continued growth and development can be attributed to the Group’s surging profile and dominant positioning as a hotel operator of choice.
“This latest group of acquisitions reinforces the strong momentum in our growth strategy and highlights our ability to convert our pipeline.”
In FY2016, Mantra Group increased its portfolio by 11 new properties, adding more than 3,000 rooms to its inventory, making it Australia’s fastest growing hotel group for the year.
“With seven acquisition announcements in the first five months of FY2017, we’re well-placed to exceed last year’s record result,” Mr East said.
