Perry and Adrienne Potter recently purchased the management rights to well-known residential resort, Adelphi Springs. Having never dabbled in the accommodation industry before, Adrienne said they are thoroughly enjoying their new business venture.
“Previously we were both involved in building and were looking for a lifestyle change. We spoke to some friends who had a management rights business so we started to look into it and thought it would be perfect.
“Adelphi Springs was the first property we viewed but not the last. We saw probably another dozen or so after but Adelphi Springs was stuck in our mind. We wanted something that would be a nice place for us to live as well as a business and it was the combination of Adelphi Springs’ magnificent gardens, the fact that it is private and secluded with 4ha of grounds with great facilities that sold us.”
It has only been four months since Perry and Adrienne took over Adelphi Springs but already, these two movers and shakers have refurbished their office and are now taking the liberty to personally get to know the residence of each of their 123 properties.
“We have a lot of permanent residents but I would say 50% of our 123 properties are rentals with six to 12-month leases.”
Superb Greek Style Living
Adelphi Springs is easily one of the most well-known residential resorts on the Gold Coast. Located in Southport, Adelphi Springs features 123 townhouses, apartments and villas.
Spread out over the 4ha grounds and surrounded by landscaped tropical gardens with forest walks aquascaped with trickling streams and gentle waterfalls, is the three types of Greek Island-style courtyard homes.
Adelphi Springs has two-bedroom, two-bedroom plus study and three-bedroom unfurnished high-set townhouses, one-, two-, two-bedroom plus study and three-bedroom unfurnished apartments and unfurnished three bedroom low-set villas.
All of the residences features an open plan living area, reverse cycle air conditioning or a ceiling fan, private courtyard, kitchen equipped with an under bench oven, cooktop, range hood, twin sinks, garbage disposal unit and flick mix tap bedrooms each with a built-in wardrobe with full length sliding mirror doors and en suite off the main bedroom.
Within the grounds are two recreational swimming pools with large relaxation areas around each plus an indoor heated pool, a well equipped gymnasium and several poolside barbeque areas.
