La Vida on Anzac
La Vida on Anzac is Peter and Maree Savage’s first management rights business and is actually their first taste of the accommodation industry.
Originally from NSW, Peter and Maree worked together on their family property, Julong in Binda before moving to Queensland in 1992. After settling in Buderim with their two sons, Peter began working in real estate then landscaping while Maree worked as a nurse. Two years ago, the Savages decided to find a business where they could work together again and that was when they came across management rights and more importantly, La Vida on Anzac.
“Management rights had always been of interest to us and then we discovered and fell in love with one of Brisbane’s best kept secrets: Redcliffe on Morton Bay. Redcliffe just has so much to offer visitors from whale watching, fishing, golfing and surfing to art galleries, beautiful parks, shops and great restaurants. Redcliffe also has the closest patrolled beach to Brisbane CBD and we love that it is such an ideal family spot.”
With what attracted Peter and Maree to Redcliffe obvious, the Savages said what attracted them to La Vida on Anzac was, “The fact it was only 2½ years old and had really happy dedicated staff in place.”
While their first year has been extremely busy settling into a new lifestyle, Maree said, “It has been a really rewarding year. We have been busy putting systems in place to ensure La Vida not only exceeds our guests’ needs but continues to run efficiently and smoothly. One of the highlights of our first year was winning the Redcliffe and Bayside Herald’s 2008 Business Achiever Award in the hospitality and tourism services.”

Boutique, Corporate and Holiday
Built in 2005, La Vida on Anzac set the precedent in Redcliffe accommodation when it opened as the first complex to offer short-term letting. Today, 3½ years on, La Vida on Anzac is still Redcliffe’s premier corporate and holiday accommodation complex.
The 4½ star self-catering property offers 32-boutique studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments each one equipped with in-room broadband, air-conditioning, Foxtel television and private balconies. In the complex there is a secure under cover parking area and a lap pool.
The one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments all feature a fully self-contained kitchen, sitting area and laundry facilities while the studios have kitchenettes with microwave, toaster, bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.
La Vida on Anzac also has a conference room capable of catering up to 20 people inclusive with wireless Internet, digital projector, white board, chart paper and refreshments. The conference room is available for letting either daily, nightly, weekly or monthly.
It is not surprising that La Vida is so popular with the business clientele.
