Garuda back in Brisbane after 5 years
Starting August 2013 as part of the carrier’s Quantum Leap strategy, Garuda Indonesia will launch its fourth Australian port, with six times weekly flights between Brisbane via Denpasar to Jakarta.
Garuda Indonesia vice president Bagus Y Siregar said, “Australian travel to Indonesia is growing every year, with a 20% increase in passenger numbers in the first half of this year on the same period in 2011. We have also seen a significant growth in demand in Queensland, particularly in the leisure sector.”
