CRVA links with AAA
An industry partnership between the Accommodation Association of Australia and Caravan, RV Accommodation Industry of Australia will further strengthen representation of the national industry body for the accommodation industry.
The partnership allows CRVA contributors and supporters to access a range of services covering workplace relations support as well as benefit from an enhanced united industry voice through a sector membership package.
The CEO of the Accommodation Association of Australia, Richard Munro said, “This is an exciting development for our industry and another example of how partnering with like-minded associations such as the CRVA will ensure that our message is strong and our members are getting maximum value from their membership through a great range of services.”
Stuart Lamont, CEO of CRVA said, “This positive relationship will harmonise important accommodation messages to government and strengthen lobbying efforts of the whole accommodation industry. It will deliver direct benefits to each association and their stakeholders through economies of scale.”
With steady improvements in occupancy and RevPAR shown in the recent December 2012 Australia Bureau of Statistics results, the growth of the accommodation industry relies on its industry bodies to strengthen and provide specialised services and representations to local, state and federal governments.
AAA has also partnered other industry associations such as Victorian Tourism Industry Council in July last year and Caravan and Camping Industry Association of New South Wales.
CRVA represents over 4000 caravanning industry businesses ranging from caravan parks, manufacturers and retailers of industry products, suppliers of goods and services, and service providers.
AAA’s membership base consists of almost 2000 properties and more than 110,000 guest rooms.
