Resort pool undergoes makeover for summer
One of Australia’s largest hotel pools, located at popular local resort Oaks Pacific Blue Resort in Port Stephens has recently received an extensive makeover just in time for summer.
Thought to be Australia’s longest pool and the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, this 500m facility has recently undergone comprehensive refurbishments to the complete length of the pool, including recoating and resurfacing, and the draining and refilling of an incredible 3.5 million litres of water. Now boasting a fresh new look, this sparkling jewel is expertly cleaned by 6 x 2 tonne sand filters and driven by 4 x 25 horsepower pumps. And at 0.9-metres deep, it’s perfect for kids but also blissful bathing, and has over 3000sqm of pool floor to explore!
Another bonus is all hotel facilities can be accessed directly from the pool.
Surrounded by lush, tropical gardens, Oaks Pacific Blue Resort comprises luxurious studio, one and two bedroom apartments, some with popular swim-outs or two and three bedroom townhouses with their own private plunge pools. There’s also the choice of premium hotel rooms.
