Travelodge delivers a new generation of hotels

One of Australia’s longest-established and most trusted accommodation brands, Travelodge Hotels is undergoing a brand-wide refresh program to deliver a new generation of hotels for the smart traveller looking for quality accommodation in excellent locations.

The refresh program recognises the changing needs of these travellers who want an easy and seamless experience in a prime location, with excellent trusted service, unbeatable value and all the facilities they need.

The first stage of the brand refresh program is underway within the Tucker Box Hotel Trust portfolio, with Travelodge Sydney, Travelodge Southbank and Travelodge Blacktown already completed. A second phase is in progress including Travelodge Newcastle, Travelodge Philip Street, Travelodge Macquarie Park, Travelodge Wynyard and Travelodge Perth which are scheduled for completion by mid-2015. The refresh program is planned for the remaining hotels in the portfolio in 2015/16.

The refresh program will offer enhanced guest room design and amenity, lobbies and cafes, Wifi and breakfast offerings. It also includes a new customer booking experience, with guests encouraged to go online for direct reservations at, with no booking fees, the best rate guaranteed, value-added benefits and earned incentives.

AN70-2-DN-Travelodge 12 300x225In addition to the refresh program, construction is planned to commence on an additional 54 rooms at Travelodge Bankstown including the upgrade of the existing hotel rooms and lobby. A new 209 room Travelodge Mascot is also under construction and due to open in late 2015. It will have 800 car spaces and be conveniently located just 500m from the domestic airport.

Tucker Box Hotel Trust is jointly owned by the National Roads & Motorists’ Association and Mirvac Group. It owns 12 Travelodge hotels in Australia.
